Irish Apple Soda Bread

Irish Apple Soda Bread

Irish Soda Bread has a distinctive taste which is very different from many of the dessert type breads people in the United States are used to. A true Irish soda bread recipe doesn’t include sugar, raisins or cranberries. For ours we included apples. If you’re looking for a dessert that isn’t too sweet or rich this is a good choice. Adding a little fresh whipped cream offsets the breads try texture perfectly. A light sprinkle of cinnamon over the top is a nice finishing touch.
